"Central to our mission is to provide the opportunity for all children to develop critical 21st century skills"
The Makerspace at the Lewisburg Center for School-age Development is an open environment for kids to create and explore. Our workshops and Makerspace Studios have been developed to integrate hands on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math skills geared towards fostering distinctive opportunities for children to learn, create, explore, make mistakes, develop critical thinking and 21st century skills, and have fun!
Central to our mission is to provide the opportunity for all children to develop critical 21st century skills to prepare them to meet the challenges of today’s ever expanding world. These skills include Collaboration, Teamwork, Creativity, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Flexibility, Information Literacy, and Leadership. Through innovative use of technology and exciting STEM initiatives students will learn crucial life and career readiness skills that will propel them into their future endeavors.
